Environmentally Friendly Policies
At Tabula Rasa, our staff embraces the principle that a healthy mind thrives in a healthy body. With this philosophy in mind, we provide students with natural, nutritious meal options that support both physical well-being and learning.
Our lunch program features freshly prepared meals that include steamed vegetables daily and avoid fried foods, preservatives, sodas, and sugar-based drinks. Water is the primary beverage served. Snacks provided by the school consist of fresh fruit each day.
Families may choose to send additional snacks from home, provided they reflect healthy choices. Whenever possible, our meals incorporate organic ingredients, reinforcing our commitment to student health and environmental responsibility.
2000 – Tabula Rasa School of Foreign Languages was founded by a couple who, between them, are fluent in eight languages. Grounded in a passion for linguistics and cultural education, the school began as a small, interactive center offering foreign language instruction to adults and professionals.
2002 – In January, Tabula Rasa expanded its educational mission to include children, introducing a Part-Time Preschool program designed to support early language development.
2004 – In August, the Academy welcomed its first Pre-K class. This important milestone marked the school’s evolution into Tabula Rasa The Language Academy, reflecting a growing commitment to early childhood and academic excellence.
2008 – In August, the first Spanish–English bilingual Kindergarten class was launched. Building on this success, the Academy added one Elementary grade each year. Today, we proudly offer a Bilingual Elementary School program serving students from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.
2015 – In August, Tabula Rasa expanded with the opening of its second campus in Gwinnett County (Lawrenceville), offering a total Spanish immersion program for students from 2 months through Kindergarten.
2022 – In August, the Academy opened its third campus in the Johns Creek/Alpharetta area, continuing its tradition of excellence through a total Spanish immersion program for students from 2 months through Kindergarten.
