Summer Program - 2014

During the last summers our students and families had a great time in our Spanish and French summer camps, learned something new in another language, from another culture.

We are excited to offer during the Summer Camp 2014 a larger variety of activities as well as times, for ages 2-12 years old. Our June and July Summer Camps are two weeks long. If you register your child just for the morning program, the Morning Camp hours are 9am-1pm. If you register your child just for the Afternoon Camps, the Afternoon camp hours are 2.30-5.30pm. If the child is registered for the whole day,  camp hours are 8am-6.00pm

Our MMO program (2month old-2 year old) continues all summer, four weeks in June and four weeks in July.  Please call for detailed information regarding this program.

You can either register REGISTER ONLINE or by filling out this SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION FORM. Please mail in the registration form by April 30th 2014, with the tuition check.

All our camps are total Immersion camps offered in Spanish and /or French. During each two weeks children will learn some characteristics of two/three countries/cities in Latin America, Europe, and Asia, featuring the vocabulary of child's play. The program covers the basics for the younger students: phrases such as asking for help, greeting people, good manners, local customs/sayings and attracting someone’s attention courteously - most of the daily phrasing a child will need when traveling in a Spanish or French language speaking country. The vocabulary for older students include map knowledge and map orientation, land and sea/ocean, transportation modes used in different cultures, flags of different countries etc.

Last year we did offer one week of Soccer Camp that was very popular, this year we are offering two weeks in June of Sports Camp! Our Science camp was a big hit as well, it is back by popular demand! During Little Chef camp kids will try new recepies fromdifferent countries. New for this year is the Digital Photography camp! Kids of Elementary School ages will learn how to take photos and how to use Photoshop to work on the pictures. Kids of preschool age will learn how to take photos of  objects with different colors, and an exhibition will be prepared with the photos taken! A digital camera from home  is required to participate in this camp.

For all our camps there is no registration fee, and there is a $50 snack/lunch fee. The child can register for two weeks of camp or for all month of camp.
