Welcome to Tabula Rasa-The Language Academy.

My name is Kamina Pinder and I am the President of the Tabula Rasa Parents' Association (TPRA) for the 2010-11 school year. My daughter Spencer is a first grader, and she continues to blossom in the Spanish and French programs at Tabula Rasa that she has enjoyed from the age of two. This year the Parents' Association intends to build on the continued success of prior years. Our primary objective continues to be community building. To that end, this year's projects include, but are not limited to, the following:

-We have created an annual parent satisfaction survey, and are in the process of building an alumni database so that we can keep track of the continued progress of our graduates.

-Our fundraising efforts will continue to focus on our theme "Don't Stop The Music", so that we can continue to fund the music classes that our children cherish so much.

-We are working to plan a summer trip to Spain or Costa Rica, so that our families can get together in a Spanish-speaking country, and share a fun, academically-enriching vacation.

-We want to highlight the curricular features of our children's educational experiences, and plan to host a wine and cheese event to discuss educational choices and the future of the school as it grows.

The success of the TPRA is dependent on the involvement and enthusiasm of its members. If you have a child or children at Tabula Rasa, you are a member of the TPRA. As such, we encourage you in joining us in meetings and events that enhance our community and our children's experience!
